Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Onsite AV Support Technician to provide on-site AV support for customers. The Tech 1 role emphasizes direct end-user support, routine maintenance, and quick problem resolution across conference spaces.

You will collaborate with customers, management, and global helpdesk to ensure a world-class customer service experience, with flexibility to work after hours and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in AV practices and procedures.
• Videoconferencing operation and setup.
• Knowledge of AV control systems (Crestron/Extron/AMX) a plus.
• Experience with Zoom and ServiceNow a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and test AV in conference rooms daily.
• Respond to end-user requests via ticketing system.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and debugging.
• Escalate next-level break/fix issues to their manager.
• Setup and breakdown of onsite meetings.
