Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP seeks an AV Collaboration Analyst to provide onsite AV, collaboration technology, and Level II user support. You will ensure conference room readiness, support Zoom Rooms and integrated AV systems, test spaces, and offer live meeting assistance to lawyers and staff.

The role requires a proactive, customer-focused mindset and collaboration with multiple IT teams. The position involves room readiness checks, live event support, asset management, and escalation when needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct technology support in a high-performance environment.
• Experience supporting enterprise conferencing and Zoom Rooms with room readiness and live support.
• Experience with Windows-based PCs, Microsoft Office, Citrix, and imaging/deployment solutions.
• Experience supporting VoIP telephony.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite conference room and AV support, including proactive room readiness checks, meeting setup, testing, troubleshooting, and live meeting assistance to ensure collaboration spaces are operational and ready for use.
• Review scheduled meetings and events to anticipate AV requirements, coordinate with organizers, and ensure rooms and equipment are prepared in advance.
• Support Zoom Rooms and installed AV technologies, including Poly/Cisco equipment and related conferencing gear.
• Diagnose first-line AV and collaboration issues, perform corrective actions, and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Provide AV support for meetings, presentations, and events, including advance preparation and onsite support.
• Identify issues, document incidents, coordinate escalation, and follow through to resolution.
• Maintain knowledge of installed AV systems and participate in ongoing training.
• Assist users with hardware/software problems including network connectivity and mobile devices; provide Level II hardware support.
• Provide software support for standard applications, including installation, configuration, and maintenance in coordination with other IT teams.
• Manage assets and coordinate hardware moves, changes, and deployments.
• Provide break/fix support for phones and related equipment.
• Assist with technology projects and events.
• Manage warranty claims and coordinate repairs with vendors.
• Document user requests, incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ITSM system.
• Perform other duties as required.
