Job summary

Napleton Toyota of Brookfield is seeking an Automotive Payroll and Benefits Administrator to handle on-boarding, benefits, and payroll processing for the dealership on-site. This role reports to the Office Manager and supports administrative and accounting services while managing payroll and benefits processes.

The position requires automotive dealership experience, CDK payroll experience if possible, and a detail-oriented, organized approach.

Qualifications

• Payroll processing experience, CDK experience preferred.
• Automotive dealership experience required.
• Strong math and accounting skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Willingness to undergo a background check per local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Collects and compiles payroll data, enters data or computes and posts wages, and reconciles errors to maintain accurate payroll records.
• Records changes affecting net wages, such as exemptions, insurance coverage and loan payments for each employee, and keeping master payroll records updated.
• Reports earnings, taxes, and deductions.
• Computes and issues paychecks as well as tax-withholding statements for employees' use in preparing income tax returns.
• Administers benefits, new hire paperwork, drug tests, background checks, MVR checks, and corporate initiated programs or policies.
• Maintains files, records, and compiling statistical reports as needed.
• Educates employees on benefits package and assists with employee on-boarding and open enrollment processes.
• Manages employee 401(k) enrollment process and makes changes to payroll accordingly.
