Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Systems Support Engineer to join a team responsible for setup, ongoing support, and management of critical automation PCs, servers, and PLCs in our automated fulfillment environment.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with shift flexibility during business hours and occasional overtime or weekend work. Training will occur onsite, with travel to Mesa, AZ as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in technology support, system management, OR another technology administration role.
• Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Beginner level of experience in databases, SQL, and data tools.

Responsibilities

• Setup, ongoing support, and management of automation PCs, servers, and PLCs.
• Interface with pharmacy workers and stakeholders to understand problems and update on issue statuses.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams for software upgrades, patching, and new equipment.
• Work with partners to coordinate install and extended support activities.
• Debug PLCs, networking, power systems, I/O devices on the automation line.
• Use data analytics to troubleshoot and improve equipment performance.
• Other duties as needed based on business needs.
