Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an on-site Automation Support Engineer in the United States to provide hands-on technical support for automated material handling systems. You will troubleshoot Siemens S7 PLCs, support .NET-based automation, and collaborate with software developers and customers to maximize system uptime.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, analyzing reports for improvements, and maintaining clear documentation while guiding internal teams and customers through technical issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Experience supporting PLCs (Siemens S7) or .NET-based automation systems.
Knowledge of industrial automation equipment (conveyors, automated cranes, packaging systems, drives).
Familiarity with industrial networks (Ethernet, AS-i, PROFIBUS).
Experience with AutoCAD or EPLAN preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support for automated material handling systems.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and support PLC-controlled automation equipment.
Collaborate with customers, software developers, and cross-functional teams to maximize system uptime and performance.
