Job summary

Alcon seeks an Associate, Automation Technical Support to test, install and maintain automation/SCADA systems across our engineering functions. You will support project goals, ensure adherence to SOPs, and maintain precise documentation while staying current with technology advances.

The role is on-site with a 12-hour rotating day shift (4 days on, 4 days off, 6:00am–6:00pm). Travel is not involved, and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Proficient in testing, installation and maintenance of automation/SCADA systems.
• Follow SOPs and maintain thorough documentation.
• Stay current with advances in automation/SCADA technologies.
• Commit to quality control and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Test, install and maintain automation/SCADA systems including hardware, controllers, HMI, networks, database and software.
• Support project goals by completing tasks per established procedures with some decision-making authority.
• Stay current with advances in automation and SCADA technologies.
• Adhere to GxP regulations and keep accurate documentation.
• Ensure rigorous quality control and complete required training.
• Meet job requirements and contribute to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
