Job summary

Concentra in Wichita, KS seeks an Athletic Trainer-Onsite to promote health and manage injuries for an onsite client. You’ll coordinate return-to-work, assist in emergency response, and work with the Health and Safety Leader to foster a safer workforce.

Responsibilities include first aid, injury evaluation, workers' compensation follow-up, ergonomic testing, and reporting. Strong communication and record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical Athletic Trainer experience in an onsite setting.
• Knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments.
• Experience with workers' compensation cases is desirable.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer; BLS or equivalent required.
• Able to maintain patient care records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid and injury assessment on site.
• Identify, evaluate and refer injured associates for appropriate care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies per standing orders.
• Coordinate Workers' Compensation claim capture and follow-up.
• Collaborate with HR and management on RTW job placement.
• Conduct ergonomic testing and job analyses.
• Create pre-shift preventative activity programs and monitor compliance.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and reports.
