Job summary

Qualifications

• JD degree with excellent academic credentials; admitted to practice in Tennessee.
• Minimum of 2 years of licensed legal experience with commercial real estate transactions and general corporate matters.
• Strong oral and written communication; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience with real estate and corporate law; franchise experience not required but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the real estate team with the execution of real estate transactions.
• Draft, negotiate and manage commercial real estate purchase/sale agreements and related documents.
• Support real estate due diligence and closings.
• Provide general legal advice to the divisions of the Companies and assist with liability insurance claims.
• Examine documents and advise leadership on legal issues; provide litigation and claims support as needed.
