Job summary

Nashville Bar, a publicly traded healthcare REIT‑adjacent context, seeks an Associate Counsel to support real estate transactions and governance matters. You will report to the SVP, Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary and work with business teams, outside counsel, and lenders on complex deals.

The role requires a JD, active bar license, 3–7 years of relevant experience, and the ability to provide practical, business‑oriented advice across transactional and governance matters.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active U.S. license to practice law.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in transactional, corporate, commercial or real estate matters.
• Ability to analyze complex issues and provide practical, business‑oriented advice.

Responsibilities

• Support real estate transactions: acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leases, and JVs.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents with outside counsel as needed.
• Manage due diligence, structures, approvals, and closing records.
• Assist in corporate governance, board matters, and entity maintenance.
• Oversee litigation matters, regulatory responses, and cross‑functional contracts.
