ONYX Multifamily Group in San Marcos, TX is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join the on-site team at Ranch at 1856. This full-time, on-site role supports the Property Manager in driving occupancy, collections, leasing and resident services.

You will help with renewals, move-ins/outs, notices, audits of ledgers, and assist with reporting while stepping in as on-site leader when the Property Manager is away. Growth opportunities exist within the multifamily industry.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of onsite multifamily experience
• Knowledge of leasing cycle from prospect to move-in
• Experience with resident accounts and collections
• Familiarity with property-management software

Responsabilités

• Assist in day-to-day operation and performance of the community
• Support rent collection, delinquency follow-up, notices and payment arrangements
• Maintain accurate resident ledgers, files and account documentation
• Assist with move-ins, move-outs, renewals and resident transfers
• Support lease enforcement and follow established procedures
• Build relationships and resolve questions and service issues promptly
• Support leasing efforts by responding to prospects and conducting tours
• Review applications and leasing documents for accuracy
• Assist with renewal and resident-retention efforts
• Monitor occupancy and leasing activity
• Assist with weekly/monthly reporting and administrative tasks
• Process invoices and assist with vendor documentation
• Walk the community and coordinate with maintenance to meet standards
• Support marketing and resident-engagement efforts
• Help maintain a positive onsite team environment
• Serve as onsite leader in the Property Manager's absence
• Follow Fair Housing and ONYX policies
