Job summary

Sargent Electric Company is hiring two Assistant Project Managers for the Pittsburgh, PA office. The role will be on the Bloom PIT Campus Power Station project, supporting the Off-Site Project Manager and coordinating with field teams on daily activities, RFIs, changes, and safety.

Qualifications include a BS in Engineering or Construction Management and experience with CM systems. Strong communication and organization are essential for success in this fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with major CM systems (ProjectSight, Procore, Navisworks) and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to coordinate with field and office teams.

Responsibilities

• Own RFI process and ensure timely field delivery.
• Document changes, delays, and prepare PCO support.
• Maintain area constraint logs and change/ delay logs.
• Assist in PCO development and pricing with off-site PM.
• Verify production inputs and monitor material deliveries.
• Coordinate with owner/GC field teams and attend weekly meetings.
• Lead field redlines, as-builts, and log maintenance.
• Develop and mentor Project Engineer and Project Coordinator.
• Interface with owner and GC field teams daily.
• Uphold safety standards and pursue learning opportunities.
