Sargent Electric Company seeks two Project Engineers for its Pittsburgh, PA office, with the role based on the Bloom PIT Campus Power Station site in Shippingport. You will convert field questions into RFIs and submittals, track quantities, and keep field documents current while coordinating with on-site managers and BIM-VDC teams.

The role requires a BS in Engineering/Construction Management or related field, ability to read electrical drawings, and experience with project software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, specs, and submittals; substation work familiarity a plus.
• Experience with project controls and construction software is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication aligned with field and office teams.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and track RFIs and submittals, relay field answers the same day.
• Record installed quantities from daily reports for Project Controls.
• Document field conditions and labor/equipment for change justification.
• Coordinate submittals, drawing revisions, and field impacts with teams.
• Maintain current field records, redlines, and as-built markups.
• Support area coordination, constraints, and issue logs with supervision.
• Collaborate with BIM-VDC to resolve clashes and keep models current.
• Verify installed work against documents and ensure coordination with foremen and area supervisor.
• Promote safety culture on site and in office environments.
