Job summary

Sargent Electric Company in Pittsburgh, PA is hiring a Project Coordinator for on-site duties at the Bloom PIT Campus Power Station project. This role supports on-site management, coordination of meetings, document control, and field office operations to keep projects running smoothly.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (associate/tech degree preferred) and hands-on experience with ProjectSight, Bluebeam, Procore, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/technical degree preferred.
• Experience with ProjectSight, Bluebeam, Procore, and MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to track multiple follow-ups.
• Ability to take accurate meeting minutes and prepare clear agendas and logs.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication; ability to work with field supervision, engineers, vendors, owner.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and logs, record minutes, and track follow-ups with project team.
• Support weekly GC/Owner coordination meetings with documentation and action items.
• Track deliveries, visitors, access requests, and owner/GC requests; assign actions and confirm completion.
• Distribute drawings and revised documents to the field; maintain transmittal records.
• Run field office operations: stock supplies and coordinate visitor logistics and site access.
• Direct time entry questions to payroll administrator; this role does not process time or payroll.
• Support drawing revisions and transmittals by distributing revised docs to the field.
• Maintain field office operations and visitor/site access logistics.
• Champion safety culture and participate in safety initiatives.
• Identify and engage in opportunities for hands-on learning and mentorship.
• Assume additional duties as delegated by Sargent Executive Management.
