Job summary

Daniel O’Connell’s Sons is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support on-site construction activities under the Project Manager. You will handle procurement, subcontracts, change orders, client/vendor communications, and field documentation.

Role requires a four-year engineering degree (or equivalent) and 3–5 years in facility construction management, with proficiency in Procore, Sage, Primavera, and MS Office. OSHA 30 and LEED/Lean training are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have four-year engineering degree or equivalent training/experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience in facility construction project management or related functions.
• Proficiency with project management software and scheduling tools.
• OSHA 30, LEED/Lean/CPR training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client and A/E contacts to facilitate construction activities.
• Assist project management with financial management of projects, including owner pay apps & change orders.
• Provide quantity take-offs and assist in securing subcontractor pricing.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensure submittals and drawings align with field needs.
