Job summary

DOC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support field operations on ongoing construction projects. You will work under the Project Manager, handling procurement, subcontracts, change orders, client communication, and document management on-site daily.

Responsibilities include liaison with clients and A/E, financial project management, subcontractor pricing, progress meetings, and preparing reports. A four-year engineering degree and 3–5 years of supervision are preferred; Procore, Sage,

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ experience in facility construction project management.
• Supervisory role experience with decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Procore, Sage, Primavera, and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client and A/E contacts to facilitate construction activities.
• Assist project management with financial management of projects, including Owner Pay Applications, Change Orders, and Cost Reports.
• Provide quantity take-offs for change-order estimates.
• Assist management in securing subcontractor pricing.
• Responsible for managing subcontractors and suppliers with regards to submittals, deliveries, schedules, and materials.
