Job summary

JOHNSON SERVICE GROUP in the Miami area seeks a Project Manager-Commercial Electrical to lead the administrative and technical management of a construction project onsite. You will supervise contract administration, document control, change orders, submittals, procurement and schedule while collaborating with estimating during pre-construction to resolve constructability issues.

Requirements include a four-year Construction/Engineering degree or equivalent, 5+ years in construction/management,

Qualifications

Four year Construction/Engineering Degree or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
Minimum of five years experience in construction, design, finance and management.
2+ years experience for a commercial electrical contractor.
Proficiency in Primavera, Expedition, CGC CMS, MS Word, Excel and AIA Contract Documents.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Lead administrative and technical management of the construction project.
Oversee contract administration, document control, change orders, submittals, procurement and schedule.
Interface with estimators and preconstruction department; coordinate with owners, A/E’s, suppliers and subcontractors.
Develop master project schedule and quality control program; review budgets and scopes.
Ensure safety is incorporated into planning and execution; manage GMP or Lump Sum contracts.
