Smart Tech Contracting, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager – Critical Infrastructure - III in Austin, TX. The role focuses on planning, execution, and delivery of mission-critical construction projects under guidance from a Project Manager.

You will own portions of project execution, manage RFIs/submittals, schedules, procurement coordination, and change management support while gaining exposure to full lifecycle responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3–6 years of project coordination/construction management experience in technical environments.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with moderate supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients/stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage defined project workstreams under Project Manager guidance.
• Prepare, track, and coordinate RFIs, submittals, schedules, and documentation.
• Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and subcontractors to support execution.
• Track action items and ensure timely follow-up with stakeholders.
• Support procurement, cost tracking, and change management activities.
