Smart Tech Contracting in Austin, TX is seeking an Assistant Project Manager – Critical Infrastructure - III to support planning, execution, and delivery of mission-critical construction projects under the direction of a Project Manager. The role covers RFIs, submittals, schedules, procurement coordination, change management, and interaction with field teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and practical experience may be considered.
• Prior experience in construction, technical, or mission-critical environments is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage assigned project workstreams under the guidance of the Project Manager.
• Prepare, track, and coordinate RFIs, submittals, and related documentation.
• Support project kickoff activities, coordination meetings, and ongoing communication.
• Interface with clients, GCs, subcontractors, and vendors as directed by the Project Manager.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, logs, and trackers.
