Job summary

ABB is seeking an Assembly Worker to support production targets at the Pinetops, NC facility. You will read technical diagrams and perform assembly on products and panels using hand tools, with a focus on quality and safety.

Work is onsite at the Pinetops, NC plant, with daily tasks that involve manual assembly, tool use, and routine quality checks. This role requires lifting capabilities and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
• Knowledge and use of tools - tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.
• Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.
• Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
