Job summary

E-Therapy is seeking an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to join our onsite team in Cary, IL for the 26/27 school year. The role supports deaf or hard of hearing students by facilitating communication in classrooms and events. Strong ASL and English skills, and familiarity with educational settings, are essential.

Starting pay is $36 per hour, based on experience, with full-time hours (37.5 per week). ISBE approval or IDHHC certification is required to qualify for the position.

• Work with teachers and special education staff to support learning.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Advocate for students' accessibility needs and ensure compliance with IDEA and ADA.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance interpretation skills.
