Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking an Accounting Clerk for onsite, part-time support at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena (UMBC). The role handles transactional accounting tasks, supports the General Manager and venue departments, and reports to the Regional Director of Finance.

Expect approximately 30 hours per week during normal business hours, with an hourly pay range of $19.45–$24.31. Responsibilities include AP/AR processing, payroll input, bank reconciliation, month-end close assistance, and

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related financial experience.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with NetSuite, Coupa and ADP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process AP invoices (coding, documentation, routing for approvals).
• Prepare AR billings, send statements, follow up on balances.
• Prepare bank deposits and assist with reconciling banking activity.
• Provide payroll input and routine payroll support.
• Process Box Office and ticketing reports and related transactions.
• Reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts; assist with month-end close.
