Job summary

OPW Global is seeking an Applications Engineer for Custum Equipment and Quoting to onsite in Ohio. You will apply technical expertise to evaluate field data, generate competitive quotes for custom fluid transfer systems, and deliver advanced CAD designs and 3D models to customer specifications.

You will bridge sales and production, support manufacturing with BOMs, and coordinate with engineering, sales and other departments to ensure quotes are accurate, economical, and timely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSME / BSMET).
• 2 years of professional engineering or technical quoting experience.
• 2 years of experience using 3D CAD programs (Creo/ProE preferred) and 2D CAD (AutoCAD preferred).

Responsibilities

• Custom Equipment Quoting: quote custom pipe and swivel equipment and complex terminal layouts using field data.
• KPI-Driven Turnaround: meet or exceed KPIs for quote accuracy, technical verification, and speed.
• Cost & Accuracy Optimization: create detailed BOMs and support production for seamless transfer.
• Sales Collaboration: act as technical partner to internal sales teams for viable commercial options.
• Cross-Functional Communication: coordinate with sales, engineering, manufacturing and others to streamline the pipeline.
