Our client, a global manufacturing leader with over 50 years of expertise in advanced industrial air handling systems, is seeking an Application Engineer to join its growing U.S. operations in Marion, Ohio.

The company designs and manufactures custom industrial HVAC and air handling solutions, using an Off-Site Manufacturing approach that ensures shorter installation times, improved quality, and enhanced on-site safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support in the design, configuration, and sales of industrial HVAC systems
• Assist customers with product selection (fans, blowers, filters, ducting, control panels) and ensure compliance with technical requirements
• Translate customer needs into technical documentation and layout drawings
• Serve as a technical liaison throughout sales and post-sales processes
• Collaborate with engineering teams in the U.S. and abroad to deliver tailored solutions
• Support sales and business development efforts with product and application expertise
• Participate in client meetings, site visits, and product demonstrations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field (preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in application engineering, technical sales, or project engineering within the HVAC industry
• Strong understanding of industrial HVAC products and components (air handling units, fans, ductwork, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. as needed
