Job summary

AIR Communities is hiring a Maintenance Technician to work on-site at The Westside in Plano. You will help prepare apartments, perform basic repairs, and support residents’ needs using AIR’s modern maintenance tools and processes.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of maintenance experience in facilities/building environments.
Proficient in at least two trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry).
Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day weeks as needed; on-call shifts.
Reliable transportation to respond to emergencies and after-hours requests.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent service to residents and assist teammates.
Complete basic apartment turns to ready units for move-in.
Perform resident-requested repairs and routine maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances).
May train other Maintenance Technicians and support skill development.
May assist with vendor quality and move-in/move-out inspections.
