AIR Communities’ Walnut Hill Las Colinas community is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform routine and emergency maintenance, repairs, and resident service requests. This full-time role offers hourly pay and growth opportunities.

You will work across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliance tasks, join a team with modern tools, and may be on-call. AIR provides bonuses, rent discount, and career development opportunities for dedicated teammates.

Formación

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in facilities or building environment.
• Proficient in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (seasonal) and on-call shifts (at least one week a month).
• Reliable mode of transportation to respond to emergency service requests after hours.
• Comfort with physical activity to move heavy equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide excellent service to residents and assistance to team members.
• Follow AIR’s process for completion of basic apartment turns to make the apartment ready for the next resident’s move-in experience.
• With general direction, complete resident requested repairs and routine maintenance (troubleshoot and repair/replace plumbing, basic electrical components, HVAC equipment, and appliances).
• May provide functional/technical direction and training to other Maintenance Technicians and support the development of technical skills.
• May assist with managing vendor quality and may perform move-in/move-out inspections.
• Responsibilities vary based on team member skillset and community needs, mechanical systems, and season.
