Moderna Therapeutics in Norwood, MA is seeking a Research Associate for Analytical Technical Operations. You will execute analytical testing, operate LC systems, qPCR, DLS, and plate readers, and generate high-quality data for process development.
The role requires a bachelor’s in analytical sciences and up to 2 years of relevant experience. It’s an onsite position with emphasis on collaboration, accuracy, and rapid data turnaround.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in analytical biochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in analytical chemistry or related lab environment.
- Foundational understanding of chromatography and analytical characterization.
- Good laboratory practices and documentation standards.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare samples, execute analytical testing, and analyze data with rapid turnaround.
- Operate and maintain UPLC/HPLC, LC/MS, LC/CAD, qPCR, DLS, plate readers, and liquid handlers.
- Perform peer data review and interpret results with senior support.
- Troubleshoot methods and equipment; collaborate with process development on results.
- Support high-throughput workflows and maintain compliant documentation.
