Job summary

Moderna is seeking an Associate II with cGMP quality control analytical testing experience. The role performs in-process, release and stability testing in the QC Chemistry lab and may support special projects.

The position requires hands-on analytical work with instruments such as HPLC/UPLC, UV plate readers, and other QC equipment, while ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance in a 100% onsite setting at Moderna.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Chemistry (preferred) or other relevant scientific discipline.
• Working experience: at least two years in quality control laboratory in a pharmaceutical company.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, release and stability testing for materials and products in compliance with cGMP, SOP, FDA and ICH requirements.
• Document testing procedures and results using worksheets or LIMS per GDP.
• Maintain data integrity and cGMP in QC lab per FDA and ICH guidance.
• Support general lab activities including reagent preparation, sample management, and equipment maintenance.
• Assist with troubleshooting of assay methods and equipment and participate in lab investigations (OOS/OOT/OOE).
