Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking an on-site Behavioral Health Counselor to deliver assessments, brief counseling, crisis intervention, care coordination, and management consultation for airline employees. You will collaborate with organizational leaders and Employee Assistance Program partners to connect individuals with resources and uphold a culture of health and psychological safety.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted, masters-level mental health license; LCSW/LMFT/LP accepted.
• Other clinical licensures require CEAP or national alcohol/drug certification (NAADAC/NCC/AP, ICADC/ICAADC, NBCC MAC).
• CISM training or willingness to become certified.
• 1+ years substance abuse treatment/assessment and SAP certification or willingness.
• 3+ years direct clinical experience in various settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site consultation and counseling to Airline employees.
• Provide initial assessment and triage for mental/behavioral health services.
• Coordinate referrals to appropriate treatment or higher level of care.
• Offer CISD and group/individual trainings as needed.

Skills

CEAP certification

CISM training or certification

SAP certification or willingness

Substance abuse treatment experience

Clinical experience (3+ years)

Education

Master's degree in behavioral health
