Job summary

RTX Collins Aerospace is seeking a Field Support Technician based in Everett, WA, reporting to Collins Interior Seating and Boeing facilities. You will install, service, and maintain aircraft seating and lavatories, focusing on electrical troubleshooting and system reliability during builds and deliveries.

The role is on-site with first shift hours 5:30am–2:00pm and requires an AA/AS degree with 6+ years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency in reading wiring diagrams and

Qualifications

• Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in electrical troubleshooting.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues on seating and lavatories, provide clear recommendations to internal teams and customers.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and maintenance manuals to diagnose issues and perform repairs.
• Perform on-site field service including installation, operation, removal, and replacement of electronic and mechanical equipment.
• Travel domestically and internationally to support field service operations.
