Job summary

RTX is hiring onsite in Winston-Salem, NC for a role supporting assembly and testing of aircraft seats and furniture. You will work closely with engineers, using hand tools and basic computing skills to document procedures and results.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
• Experience in regulated industries such as aerospace or automotive
• Proven ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring tools

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to set up and test commercial aircraft seats and furniture.
• Provide technical support to engineers on various tasks.
• Confer with engineers on test article setup, procedures, and results.
• Demonstrate proficiency with hand tools to build and test structures per FAA regulations.
• Apply mechanical and manufacturing concepts to ensure precision.
• Communicate effectively in a collaborative team.
• Support project documentation and daily operations with basic computer skills.
• Interpret engineering drawings with accuracy to meet design specs.
