Job summary

Philips seeks an AI Clinical Solutions Engineer for the Azurion Eye program, joining hospital-based AI imaging work in Asheville, NC or Nashville, TN. You will identify clinical needs, translate them into AI-enabled product requirements, and validate AI workflows in real-world settings alongside clinicians and engineers.

You will collaborate with product teams and R&D to drive evidence generation, regulatory compliance, and adoption of AI solutions within interventional imaging workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software-based healthcare or medical technology
• Experience with AI-enabled healthcare products and direct clinician collaboration
• FDA Design Controls in SaMD/SaNMD environments

Responsibilities

• Identify clinical challenges and translate them into AI-enabled product opportunities and requirements
• Deploy and evaluate AI capabilities in clinical environments
• Collaborate with physicians, product teams and AI engineers to validate AI outputs and gather feedback
• Support prototype deployments, software validation, and integration into hospital IT environments
