Job summary

Asset Living, a national affordable housing management firm, seeks an Affordable Housing Assistant Community Manager in Sacramento to oversee daily operations and financial tasks under the Community Manager. You will ensure compliant, efficient on-site management and lead a team to uphold standards across the property.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the Community Manager.
• Supervise property staff to ensure compliance with policies, safety and fair housing.
• Post payments, post charges, and manage end-of-month closing procedures.
• Develop and implement resident retention programs.
• Deal with resident complaints, concerns, and requests.
