Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Fairfield, CA is seeking a manufacturing associate to set up and assemble parts and to read and follow procedures precisely. You will ensure parts meet quality standards and deadlines while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, basic machine tool skills, and experience with Citrix, SAP, Word and Excel. U.S. citizenship or equivalent status is required for access to certain programs.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or vocational training.
• Ability to obtain ATF qualifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience using Citrix, SAP, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and assemble parts.
• Demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools.
• Read and follow procedures, routing and work instructions.
• Ensure creation of parts meet customer deadlines and expectations.
• Participate in audits and cost reduction/continuous improvement initiatives.
