Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an onsite engineer/technician to perform technical tasks, troubleshoot and calibrate hardware, and participate in project teams. You will work with advanced equipment, create reports, and help ensure quality in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The role requires 8+ years of experience with an AA/AS degree and familiarity with SAP and Excel. This position is on the first shift, Mon-Fri, with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree (or equivalent) with 8+ years relevant experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and interpreting schematics.
• Demonstrated ability to meet customer KPIs.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical tasks based on written or verbal instructions.
• Use microelectronic, optical, mechanical, and related equipment including lasers.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, calibration or modification of hardware, fixtures, and software.
• Lead or participate in project teams and document results.
• Support manufacturing activities and resolve production problems.
• Generate reports from test results and write procedures.
