Job summary

RTX Collins Aerospace seeks an onsite assembler to read blueprints and work from engineering drawings, operating hand and electrical tools to assemble equipment. You will monitor quality, fix defects, and keep workstations stocked in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 1 year of relevant experience
• 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Reads, interprets, and follows blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.
• Operates hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment.
• Maintains inventory of product in workstations.
• Performs quality work checks, identifies product defects and records defects.
• Reworks and/or repairs assembled equipment according to engineering specification changes.
• Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
