Job summary

University of La Verne is seeking an Assistant Director of Admission to drive new student recruitment for the College of Law and Public Service. The role collaborates with Enrollment Management to meet enrollment goals, coordinating strategies and metrics while engaging campus staff and external partners.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, 1 year in recruitment/marketing, and strong communication plus a commitment to diversity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of experience in recruitment and marketing.
• Understanding of admission process and best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
• Higher Education enrollment marketing experience is highly desired.
• Experience with CRM, ideally Slate.

Responsibilities

• Recruit new students for JD and MPA programs at the College of Law and Public Service.
• Organize and lead the admissions process with College of Law and Public Service partners.
• Build and maintain partnerships with community colleges, institutions, stakeholders and community-based organizations.
• Represent the University at events to generate leads resulting in applications and enrolled students.
• Conduct on-campus and virtual information sessions and yield events.
• Counsel prospective students on steps from admission to enrollment.
• Develop CRM-driven recruitment campaigns and reports.
