Qualifications

• At least 2–4 years of direct experience modeling actuator systems.
• Experience developing performance requirements for actuator systems.
• Experience with MATLAB, C++, Simulink, and Python.
• DoD Secret level security clearance.
• Experience modeling both linear and nonlinear models in Simulink.

Responsibilities

• Modeling and Simulation of actuation systems for launch/target vehicles and BD programs.
• Work under general direction of Flight Sciences Functional Manager and engineers.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Systems disciplines to achieve objectives.
• Design and analysis of single loop and multi-loop PID control systems for electromechanical and electro-hydraulic actuation.
