Job summary

Delta Dallas is seeking an experienced ACH Payment Processing Specialist to join our operations team. You will handle processing of ACH transactions, ensure accuracy, and uphold regulatory compliance across daily payment activities.

You will apply NACHA rules and SEC codes, resolve exceptions, and collaborate with internal and external partners to maintain smooth processing and strong controls. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently on time-sensitive tasks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ACH processing experience in a financial institution or payment processor.
• Strong knowledge of NACHA operating rules, ACH return codes, and SEC codes.
• Ability to independently investigate and resolve ACH issues.
• Understanding of the full ACH lifecycle beyond basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Process and monitor incoming ACH transactions for accuracy and timeliness.
• Research and resolve ACH exceptions, returns, and processing discrepancies.
• Apply NACHA rules and SEC codes to daily processing tasks.
• Coordinate resolutions with internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain accurate ACH activity records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with banking procedures, regulations, and controls.
• Support wire transfers and other payment operations as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve processing efficiency and accuracy.
