Job summary

Alliance North America (ANA) is seeking a temporary Accounting Specialist I for an onsite Henderson, NV role. You will support day-to-day transactional accounting, focusing on AP processing and vendor support, with additional AR duties.

This 12-week project-based assignment runs weekdays from 8:00 to 5:00, with potential length through 2026. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle high-volume deadlines.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior accounting work experience is not required; coursework or internships helpful.
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with lookups and pivot tables a plus.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial data.
• Clear written and verbal communication; collaborative approach.
• Ability to protect confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine journal entries, schedules, and account reconciliations.
• Compare GL activity to supporting records and research discrepancies.
• Update prepaid expenses, accruals, and month-end close documentation.
• Review invoices, receipts, and expense docs for completeness and matching records.
• Support vendor statement reconciliations, customer accounts, and cash application.
• Identify missing docs or discrepancies and coordinate follow-up.
