Alliance North America, headquartered in Henderson, NV, seeks a Senior Cost Accountant to design and lead ANA’s cost accounting function on-site. You will implement standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis, partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to enable data-driven decisions.

The role emphasizes building scalable processes, managing month-end close for inventory and COGS, and delivering actionable cost insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including cost accounting in manufacturing, distribution, or operations-focused environment.
• Experience designing, implementing, or improving a cost accounting system or ERP-based costing function.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, BOMs, routings, overhead allocation, and variance analysis.
• Hands-on ERP experience and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently in evolving environments and communicate across functions.
• CPA or CMA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, implement, and maintain ANA’s cost accounting system, including standard costing, inventory costing, and variance reporting.
• Create cost accounting framework, controls, structures, reporting cadence, and data governance.
• Develop standard costs for materials, labor, overhead, BOMs, and routings.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Service, and Finance to translate activity into reliable financial information.
• Lead standard cost implementation and variance analysis, including purchase price and production variance.
• Build reporting to show product profitability, customer profitability, inventory trends, and cost drivers.
• Maintain procedures for inventory valuation, reserves, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
