Job summary

Fastenal in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Full-time Onsite Account Representative to manage customer relationships, coordinate with upper management, and ensure compliance with service agreements. The role may offer a flexible schedule after onboarding and performance goals are met.

You will handle inventory, deliveries, vendor interactions, and strategic account activities while maintaining strong communication and problem solving to drive unit economics and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have a Business/Marketing degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong math aptitude and attention to detail.
• Highly organized with strong planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Self-directed, customer-service oriented, and a team player.
• Must be 18+ and hold a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to pass drug screen.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs (up to 75 lbs) occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with multiple customer contacts and upper management relationships.
• Receive product, inspect quality, stage, scan, and assist with deliveries.
• Purchase product, quote, source, and manage inventory.
• Develop and execute a sales plan to meet/exceed goals.
• Communicate business statistics and progress toward goals.
• Develop continuous improvement programs.
• Demonstrate cost savings programs.
• Create unique program offerings for customers.
• Handle day-to-day needs of the customer.
