Job summary

Walmart is seeking an Academy Coach to lead learning initiatives that build associate capability and drive operational excellence at our Tracy, CA facilities. You will deliver world-class training across modalities, coach leaders, and partner with facility leadership to strengthen talent pipelines and readiness.

You will use data and feedback to improve learning outcomes, support change initiatives, and foster a culture of learning and belonging across teams.

Qualifications

• Background in learning and development.
• Experience delivering instructor-led and virtual training.
• Experience with adult learning principles.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging learning experiences across Walmart facilities.
• Facilitate training via classroom, virtual platforms, VR, and other tech.
• Partner with facility leaders to identify development opportunities and succession planning.
• Coach and develop associates and leaders with actionable feedback.
• Conduct facility visits to translate learning into operational outcomes.
• Support adoption of new processes through training and hands-on coaching.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to align learning with business needs.
• Measure learning outcomes using data and observations.
