Job summary

Savvas Learning Company is seeking a Per Diem Educational Consultant (6-12 Math) to support districts by delivering core content, interventions, and professional development. The role involves onsite coaching, data-driven instruction, and collaboration with school leaders to implement Savvas programs and technology resources across the Midwest or Mid-Atlantic regions.

Candidates should have 5+ years teaching in a 6-12 setting, with strong experience in coaching and leveraging Savvas products.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of successful teaching in a 6-12 setting.
• Experience offering workshops or coaching to teachers.
• Experience with classroom-based technology integration.
• Experience with differentiated instruction.
• Demonstrated success as a classroom teacher and five years of 6-12 math experience.
• Strong collaboration and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of standards-based reform, curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
• Ability to plan strategically with school leaders and classroom teachers.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Effectively implement classroom components and resources, differentiate instruction, and manage Savvas classrooms.
• Provide job-embedded coaching and modeling for teachers.
• Observe and support classroom practices, giving actionable feedback.
• Use dashboards to drive data-based instruction decisions.
• Provide onsite administrator support and coaching, and facilitate training.
• Maintain regular communication with school and district leaders.
