Job summary

Savvas Learning Company is seeking an onsite Per Diem Educational Consultant for 6-12 Mathematics to initiate lasting district and school change by delivering core content, intervention and job-embedded professional development. The role requires 5+ years of successful teaching in a 6-12 setting, with preference for candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of Savvas products and coaching experience.

Strong collaboration with administrators is essential, with local Midwest or Mid-Atlantic

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; MA preferred.
• Experience offering workshops and coaching to teachers.
• Experience with classroom technology integration and differentiated instruction.
• Successful classroom teaching experience in 6–12 mathematics (5+ years).
• Strong collaboration and ability to coach school leaders and teachers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional development and job-embedded services in 6–12 math.
• Coach teachers, differentiate instruction, and model effective practice.
• Observe and provide feedback to guide implementation of Savvas programs.
• Use data dashboards to inform instructional decisions and student outcomes.
• Support administrators and maintain ongoing communication with school/district leaders.
