Job summary

Savvas Learning Company seeks an on-site Per Diem Educational Consultant for 6-12 Math to drive district-level change by delivering core content, intervention and job-embedded professional development. You will support schools with effective strategies, Savvas products, technology resources, and data-driven decision making.

Ideal candidates hold 5+ years teaching in a 6-12 Math setting, with evidence of coaching and training teachers.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; MA preferred.
• Experience offering workshops/coaching to teachers.
• Experience with classroom-based technology integration.
• Experience with differentiated instruction.
• Five years of successful 6-12 mathematics teaching experience.
• Strong collaboration and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of standards-based reform, curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
• Ability to plan strategically with and coach school leaders and classroom teachers.

Responsibilities

• Implement program components and resources: apply philosophy, pedagogy, and organization; deliver each segment of the daily instructional block; differentiate instruction; manage Savvas curriculum and technology; use data and reporting tools to drive instruction; model coaching conversations with admins.
