Job summary

State of Colorado's Colorado Online is hiring a Colorado Online Student Engagement Manager to lead the central recruitment and onboarding team. You will design engagement models, monitor funnels, and partner with Marketing, IT, and colleges to recruit students for fully online programs.

You'll supervise five staff, develop benchmarks, and drive online enrollment strategies, with a focus on scalable, sustainable processes across Colorado Online.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; an equivalent combination of education/experience may substitute.
• Three years of leadership experience in student recruitment and onboarding.
• Experience with an integrated student information system.
• Experience using a college recruitment CRM system.

Responsibilities

• Develop and adapt engagement models, drip campaigns, and pre-admit communication plans.
• Monitor and analyze applicant tracking to identify pain points and adjust strategy.
• Engage with leads, prospects, and inquiries to convert them into applicants.
• Coordinate with Financial Aid partners to document central recruitment touchpoints and clarify referral pathways.
• Establish, monitor, and report central recruitment funnel benchmarks and success indicators.
• Use feedback to identify process gaps and recommend improvements to recruitment and onboarding.
• Coordinate onboarding from inquiry through handoff, including admissions, residency, orientation, advising, financial aid, placement, registration, tech access, and accommodations.
• Supervise five employees on the Colorado Online recruitment team.
