Job summary

Lighthouse Connections Academy seeks a Secondary Math Interventionist in Southfield, MI, to support MTSS/RTI frameworks and coordinate push-in/pull-out instruction for students needing intensive supports. You will work with general and special education teachers to design and implement Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions, monitor progress, and refine strategies.

The role involves data-driven planning and collaboration with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Michigan teaching certification in the required subject matter and grade band.
• 5+ years of full-time teaching experience in the required subject matter and grade band.
• Michigan Residency is required.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Travel and attendance at in-person events throughout the school year may be required.
• Willingness to work some evening hours to support families.

Responsibilities

• Support MTSS RTI framework to plan instruction and interventions.
• Coordinate push-in and pull-out services for Tier 1–3.
• Collaborate with SPED staff and SST participants.
• Facilitate RTI meetings in virtual or in-person settings.
• Maintain and update progress data and reports.
• Develop and implement MTSS tools and forms and share best practices.
