Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Hadley, MA, is hiring an In-Store Shopper to prepare online orders for delivery and pickup. You’ll work across produce, meat, dairy, and more, with a focus on accuracy and speed.

Flexibility for weekends, early mornings, and holidays is required to meet peak times. As part of the Customer Service & E‑Commerce teams, you’ll use handheld devices to fulfill orders, learn product details, and provide excellent service while maintaining a clean staging area and upholding store

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Sufficient English language proficiency to prepare and shop customer orders.
• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills online orders efficiently, accurately and with urgency using handheld tech or devices.
• Ensure product and order accuracy through verification and quality control processes.
• Learn and apply product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations to deliver exceptional experiences.
• Keep staging area organized and free of clutter.
• Handle in-store and online order returns and pickups.
• Comply with government regulations such as age verification for restricted items.
• Assist with customer inquiries and provide store information.
• Maintain knowledge of product and promotional events.
• Maintain a positive work environment.
• Communicate clearly, collaboratively and courteously.
• Attend daily huddles and leadership meetings.
• Support company programs and varied checkout options, store formats and product assortment, tools and technology.
• Maintain safety and store security procedures; adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store or leadership.
