Job summary

ShopRite of Flanders in New Jersey is seeking an Online Shopping Clerk to take customer orders from the ShopRite website, select items, bag them, and prep for pickup or delivery. You will communicate issues to customers and process payments.

Essential duties include identifying products, packing totes, and assisting customers with orders while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. This role supports our online shopping department.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak, analyze and understand English.
• Basic math ability.
• Able to stand/walk for full shift.
• Able to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to handle fresh and/or processed foods safely.
• Able to tolerate dust and chemical agents.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.
• Able to interact with customers politely.
• Able to cooperate with others and follow schedules.

Responsibilities

• Identify products accurately from departments.
• Select and organize customer orders efficiently.
• Bag orders safely and prepare totes.
• Process payments and provide correct change.
• Greet customers and provide prompt service.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and safety practices.
