Job summary

ShopRite Lyndhurst is seeking an Online Shopping Clerk to prepare customer orders placed on the ShopRite website. You will select items, pack totes, process payments, and ensure orders are ready for pickup or delivery with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong English communication, basic math, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You'll work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment and support the Online Shopping department.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to perform basic math for transactions and totals.
• Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a shift.
• Able to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Select products accurately from multiple departments for customer orders.
• Consolidate orders into properly packed totes for pickup or delivery.
• Process payments and provide correct change using various payment methods.
• Deliver orders to customers and assist with packing, bagging, and transport.
